NeuronWriter is the cheaper tool, a SERP-based editor with unlimited teammates from its $69 Gold plan. Jasper is the broader marketing platform, but Pro is a single seat at $69 and most team features sit on a quote-only Business plan. DeepSmith is a strong alternative for teams that want people and publishing covered by one plan: its public plans include 5 to 10 seats, a fixed monthly article allowance, and Autowrite, which writes and publishes on a schedule.

If you are weighing Jasper vs NeuronWriter for a team, the first thing to settle is how each one charges for people. NeuronWriter lists five prices from $23 to $117 a month and gives unlimited team members from Gold. Jasper charges $69 per seat on Pro, which covers one user, and quotes Business by contract. The two also do different jobs, since NeuronWriter is built around Google results and Jasper around brand-aware marketing agents. DeepSmith sits next to both as a platform that tracks AI answers and writes the content in one place.

Jasper vs NeuronWriter: the short answer

  • Choose DeepSmith if you want 5 to 10 seats included from $99 a month, a fixed monthly article allowance, and articles that are written and published on a schedule.
  • Choose Jasper if you need brand governance, SSO and bulk generation, and you are fine going through a sales process for the Business plan.
  • Choose NeuronWriter if you want the lowest published price, a SERP-based editor, and unlimited teammates starting at $69 a month.

Jasper

Jasper is an AI marketing content platform from Jasper AI, Inc. in Austin, founded in 2021. It gives you a Canvas workspace and editor, more than 100 task agents, Grid for scaled production, Studio for custom agents, and Jasper IQ, where brand voice, style guides, audiences and product facts are stored. Since mid-2026 it also tracks AI search visibility through GEO Hub.

It is built for marketing teams, mostly mid-size and enterprise departments that publish a lot of content across channels and care about consistency. Pro costs $69 per seat per month, or $59 billed annually, for one user with two Brand Voices, five Knowledge assets and three Audiences. Business is custom priced with a platform fee plus credits, and it holds Grid, Studio, collaboration, the API, SSO and GEO Hub.

The standout is the brand context layer. The limit is that the plan with most of the good parts has no public price, and Jasper does not publish how many credits come with it.

On reviews, Jasper has 4.7/5 on G2 from 1,307 reviews and 4.8/5 on Capterra from 1,855, checked on 2026-09-30. Trustpilot is lower at 3/5 from 4,141 reviews. Reviewers like the fast first drafts and brand voice, and they mention cost, generic output that needs editing, and some billing and support friction.

NeuronWriter

NeuronWriter comes from the Polish company Conti sp. z o.o. and analyzes the Google results for a keyword. It turns them into term, entity, heading and length recommendations with a live content score. The editor adds AI drafting through Content Designer, templates and the Neuro assistant, plus plagiarism checks, internal link suggestions and schema generation. A smaller AI Visibility module watches a short list of questions for brand mentions.

It is built for freelancers, small businesses and small to mid-sized agencies, especially where many teammates need access without per-seat fees. Five plans run from $23 to $117 a month, or $19 to $97 billed yearly. Team sharing, WordPress, Search Console, the API and an MCP server start at Gold.

The standout is the price next to what you get. The real limit is that Bronze and Silver are gated, with read-only sharing, standard templates and no Content Designer, API or MCP, so the low sticker price applies mostly from Gold up.

Reviews are positive but from smaller samples. NeuronWriter has 4.4/5 on G2 from 31 reviews and 4.5/5 on Trustpilot from 68. Its Capterra reviews page shows 4.9/5 from 17, all checked on 2026-09-30. Reviewers praise the SERP and term guidance, and they note generic AI drafts, a learning curve and a dated interface.

DeepSmith: the alternative that includes the team and publishes on schedule

Both tools leave a gap for a team that wants to publish regularly. On Jasper's Pro plan you get one seat, and a second user means moving to a quote-only Business plan. On NeuronWriter you get unlimited teammates from Gold, but neither record documents writing and publishing on a schedule. Jasper does bulk generation in Grid on Business, and NeuronWriter does direct WordPress export, so each covers part of the path. Our DeepSmith vs Jasper page goes further on the Jasper side. The DeepSmith vs NeuronWriter page does the same for NeuronWriter.

DeepSmith is an AI search analytics and content production platform in one. It tracks how AI engines answer questions about your brand, finds the gaps, and produces the on-brand content to close them. Seats are part of the plan, with 5 on Pro at $99 a month, 7 on Grow at $199 and 10 on Scale at $399, or $80, $160 and $299 billed annually. Each plan also carries a fixed monthly allowance of 20, 40 or 90 articles, so the cost of a month is known before it starts.

The Writer turns a planned idea into a finished, brand-grounded article that is researched, internally and externally linked, and has a cover image and publish-ready metadata. Autowrite goes one step further. You set it up at planning time, and the article writes itself on its scheduled date and lands in Produced Content, or Autowrite can take it all the way to published without anyone in the app. From there you can publish to WordPress, Webflow, Strapi, Sanity or Contentful, or to your own webhooks. DeepSmith holds a 4.8/5 rating on G2 and is SOC 2, GDPR and ISO certified, and a 7-day free trial lets you try it on real data first.

Pricing and team access

On Jasper vs NeuronWriter pricing for teams, NeuronWriter is the better value on price and on team access. Its Gold plan costs $69 a month, $57 billed annually, and lists unlimited team members with create, edit and read access, along with 10 projects, 75 analyses a month, the API and an MCP server. Jasper's Pro is the same $69 a month, or $59 per seat annually, and it covers one person. Adding a second user requires Business, which has no public price, no published seat minimum and no published credit quantity.

The allowances matter as much as the sticker price. Gold includes 75 content analyses a month and 10 AI-monitored questions, and you can add more AI credits in packs the vendor has advertised. On the Jasper side, prompts and standard agent runs are unlimited, while Grid rows, GEO Hub runs and the Optimization Agent draw from a shared credit pool, at 10, 10 and 100 credits. For a team, that makes a Jasper bill depend on a contract and on how much you run. If you want to see how credit-based pricing behaves, the guide on how to budget for AI credits is a useful place to start.

What DeepSmith does: it prices people and output inside the plan. Pro includes 5 seats and 20 articles a month for $99, and Scale includes 10 seats and 90 articles for $399, with no long-term contract. For a team of five writers and editors, that is one monthly figure.

SEO optimization and drafting

In a NeuronWriter vs Jasper match-up on optimization, NeuronWriter wins, and Jasper wins on the range of what it can draft. NeuronWriter's core job is reading the top-ranking pages for a keyword, so SERP analysis and content scoring against top competitors are both rated yes in its record. Jasper's Optimization Agent scores content against Google's Search Quality Rater Guidelines, and the records say scoring against the terms of top-ranking pages is not documented. Its keyword volume and difficulty data also come from a Semrush account you connect yourself.

Jasper makes up for that on breadth. It has agents for long-form posts, ads, emails, social, product copy and briefs, plus image generation and a Translation Agent covering 27 languages on Business. NeuronWriter drafts long articles and landing pages too, and it lets you choose between GPT 5, GPT-5-mini, Claude Sonnet 4.5 and Gemini Flash 2.0 in its templates. Reviewers on both sides say the AI drafts are generic and need editing, so plan for a human pass whichever you pick.

What DeepSmith does: the Writer builds keyword coverage, heading structure, internal links and metadata into each article as it is written, so that work does not come after the draft. DeepSmith's plans don't include a SERP term-scoring editor.

Brand context and governance

Jasper is the stronger tool here. Jasper IQ stores brand voices, style guides, audiences, product facts and a knowledge base with connectors to Google Drive and SharePoint. Business adds SAML SSO, SCIM, role-based permissions and an audit log, and the vendor lists SOC 2 Type II. Its Trust Center announced ISO 27001 certification on 2026-08-14, which is a vendor announcement and not an audit you can inspect.

NeuronWriter has an AI Profile that pulls a brand voice, products and personas from your website or documents, and its record rates brand voice as partial. Neither the vendor pages nor the third-party research found SOC 2, ISO 27001 or SSO for NeuronWriter, which means nothing is documented, not that nothing exists. If a security review is part of your buying process, ask NeuronWriter directly.

What DeepSmith does: Deep IQ holds your company positioning, products, buyer personas, brand voice, visual guidelines and content types as structured context, set up once from your website. Every article the Writer produces is grounded in it, and DeepSmith is SOC 2, GDPR and ISO certified.

AI visibility tracking

Jasper has the deeper AI visibility tracking, and NeuronWriter has the only version you can buy at a listed price. Jasper's GEO Hub tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, reporting brand presence, citation rate, share of voice and sentiment, with up to 10 competitors and 1,000 pages per report. It sits on Business and costs 10 credits per query or page run. Jasper does not publish how GEO Hub collects answers, or how long it keeps them.

NeuronWriter includes 5 to 20 monitored questions on its plans, and according to its AI Visibility FAQ the standard allowance covers Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. ChatGPT and Perplexity need the Advanced add-on, which the pricing page shows from $9 a month at 10 questions. It re-checks questions every 24 to 48 hours and reports share of voice, domain citations and sentiment. The method of collection is not stated here either.

What DeepSmith does: it tracks mention rate, citation rate, share of voice and sentiment, shows which of your pages AI engines actually cite, and lists which competitor pages win citations for your prompts. Pro covers ChatGPT, Grow adds Perplexity and Scale adds Gemini, and Enterprise covers all ten engines it supports. The tracking is on the same plan as the Writer, so the gaps it finds go straight into the content queue.

From insight to action

Neither record documents scheduled write-and-publish, so this comes down to Jasper's bulk generation against NeuronWriter's direct publishing. Jasper Grid generates content from structured rows at 10 credits each, which suits a team producing many variations, and it sits on Business. Jasper's integrations push content to Drive, SharePoint, Box and project tools, with a Webflow app, and a native WordPress integration was not verified. NeuronWriter exports to WordPress in one click from Gold, and its record does not document generating many articles in one run.

Both tools can also take instructions from outside. Jasper has an API and an MCP server, and NeuronWriter has a v0.5 API and an MCP server from Gold. NeuronWriter's MCP cannot publish to WordPress or run the one-click generator. For a practical view of what an MCP server does for a content team, the content team's guide to MCP servers covers it.

What DeepSmith does: the Content Map and Opportunity Agents turn your AI visibility data and competitor coverage into ideas that each carry the data point behind them. Those ideas move into Planned Content, where Autowrite writes them on a set date, and Produced Content publishes to your CMS. Repurpose then gives you social posts for each article, and the Apps Library adapts it for channels such as LinkedIn, X and newsletters.

Which should you choose

  • DeepSmith fits a team that wants tracking, writing and publishing on one plan with seats included. Pick it when you want a known monthly cost, 5 to 10 teammates in the tool, articles that arrive publish-ready, and scheduled production that runs when nobody is in the app.
  • Jasper fits a larger marketing department that has brand governance, SSO and multichannel output as hard requirements, and that can work through a quote for Business. In a choice of Jasper or NeuronWriter, it suits the buyer who values Jasper IQ and Grid over a low sticker price.
  • NeuronWriter fits freelancers, small agencies and teams that care most about SERP-based optimization at a published price. Between the two, it is the choice when several writers need the editor and you would rather not pay per seat.

If you want to see how Jasper compares with another SERP editor, Jasper vs Surfer SEO covers it. The NeuronWriter vs Surfer page does the same for NeuronWriter.

Frequently asked questions

Is NeuronWriter cheaper than Jasper for a team?

On published prices, yes. NeuronWriter's Gold plan is $69 a month with unlimited team members, while Jasper's Pro is $69 per seat for one user. Jasper's Business plan has no public price, so a full team comparison needs a quote. Gold also limits you to 75 content analyses a month.

Does Jasper or NeuronWriter publish on a schedule?

Neither record documents scheduled write-and-publish. NeuronWriter exports to WordPress from Gold, and Jasper has a Webflow app and exports to tools such as Drive and Asana. Jasper's June 2026 update mentioned Grid scheduling, but whether it publishes to a CMS is an open question.

Which one tracks AI search better, Jasper or NeuronWriter?

Jasper's GEO Hub covers four engines with competitor and citation analysis, but only on Business. NeuronWriter covers Google AI Overviews and AI Mode on every plan, with ChatGPT and Perplexity in a paid add-on, and with a small question allowance.

Is there an alternative to Jasper and NeuronWriter that tracks AI answers and publishes on a schedule?

DeepSmith does both. It tracks how AI engines answer your prompts, and Autowrite writes and publishes articles on a schedule from the same plan, with 5 to 10 seats included.
