Peec AI vs Adobe Brand Visibility (LLM Optimizer): Can Small Teams Start Self-Serve?

For a small team that wants to start without a sales call, Peec AI is the easier of the two: it has a self-serve trial and published plans from $95 a month, while Adobe Brand Visibility (LLM Optimizer) is sold by quote and its trial is limited to existing Adobe customers. Adobe's tool suits larger teams that already run on Adobe and have IT to help with setup. DeepSmith is a strong alternative for a small team that wants a self-serve start that goes past tracking, with a 7-day trial and plans that include publish-ready articles sent to your CMS.

Peec AI vs Adobe Brand Visibility for small teams is mostly a question of how you get in the door. One tool lets you sign up, pick a plan and start tracking prompts on the same day. The other asks you to request a consultation and, in some cases, to involve IT before the data is useful. If you need the full side-by-side, we cover it in the full comparison. This page stays on the small-team, self-serve question, and DeepSmith is a third option that also starts self-serve.

Peec AI vs Adobe Brand Visibility for small teams: the short answer

  • Choose DeepSmith if you want to start on a 7-day trial and keep going on a plan from $99 a month that tracks AI answers and also produces the publish-ready articles to close the gaps.
  • Choose Peec AI if you only need tracking, you want a published price ($95 a month for 50 prompts on Starter), and you will write the content yourself or with other tools.
  • Choose Adobe Brand Visibility if you already run Adobe Experience Manager or Adobe Analytics, you can get IT involved, and you are fine going through sales for a quote.

Peec AI

Peec AI homepage showing its AI search analytics positioning for marketing teams.

Peec AI is a Berlin-based AI search analytics tool that runs your tracked prompts daily through AI engines and reports visibility, position, sentiment, share of voice and the sources each answer cites. It is built for SEO, content and marketing teams that want prompt-level tracking at a published price and will handle the content work themselves.

The standout for a small team is how little stands between you and a first result. Starter is $95 a month for 50 prompts, three active models and unlimited users, and most modules are included from that entry plan. Peec says first scores can appear within minutes, and its quickstart says first insights arrive within 24 hours. Reviewers on G2 rate Peec AI 4.8/5 from 20 reviews (checked September 2026), with praise for the interface, quick setup and support.

The limits are real but easy to see up front. Starter picks three models from a list of six, and Perplexity is a paid add-on at $30 a month billed annually. Starter covers one project and one country. Peec does not create content, and its own Actions FAQ says you write it yourself. It also has no SOC 2 report yet, though it says it is working toward one. Our Peec review goes through the product in more depth.

Adobe Brand Visibility (LLM Optimizer)

Adobe Brand Visibility homepage describing LLM Optimizer as part of Adobe's brand visibility offering.

Adobe LLM Optimizer launched in June 2025 and has been sold since 31 July 2026 as Adobe Brand Visibility, which adds Semrush prompt and market data. It tracks mentions, citations, sentiment and share of voice, benchmarks up to five competitors, reads AI crawler traffic from CDN logs, and can deploy fixes at the CDN edge or in Adobe Experience Manager. It is aimed at large enterprises, especially ones already on Adobe Analytics or Experience Manager.

Adobe's real strength is acting on what it finds, including edge deployment and revenue attribution through Adobe Analytics. That comes with a sales-led purchase. There is no public pricing page, and licenses are set per prompts per year in a sales order. Reviewers describe CDN log forwarding as an onboarding barrier that needs IT and security coordination. The G2 listing shows 3.7/5 from five reviews, a sample too small to settle much, and Brand Presence refreshes weekly by default. Our Adobe LLM Optimizer review covers the product in more depth.

DeepSmith: the alternative that tracks and writes from a self-serve start

DeepSmith homepage presenting one platform for AI search analytics and content production.

Neither Peec AI nor Adobe Brand Visibility gives a small team a self-serve start that also produces content. Peec starts on its own but stops at tracking. Adobe goes further into optimization, but you reach it through a quote and, for the trial, an existing Adobe contract. DeepSmith closes that gap. You start a 7-day free trial, and signup takes you to a working workspace in minutes, with your brand brief, competitors, starter tracking prompts and a first batch of ideas filled in before you pay.

From there DeepSmith tracks how AI engines answer questions about your brand, and the same data feeds what gets written. Mention Rate, Citation Rate and Share of Voice show where you appear, Opportunity Agents turn the gaps into ideas that each carry their evidence, and the Writer turns a planned idea into a finished article grounded in your Deep IQ brand context. Articles come with internal and external links, a cover image and publish-ready metadata, and Produced Content publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Strapi, Sanity or Contentful, or to your own webhooks.

Plans run Pro at $99 a month ($80 billed annually) with 20 articles, 50 tracked prompts and 5 seats, Grow at $199 with 40 articles and 100 prompts, and Scale at $399 with 90 articles and 200 prompts. Pro tracks ChatGPT, Grow adds Perplexity and Scale adds Gemini, and Enterprise covers all ten engines. There are no long-term contracts and no cancellation fees, which suits a team that wants to start small and see what it gets.

Self-serve trial and signup

Peec AI wins this one clearly. It has a "Start free trial" button on its public pricing page, and nobody has to talk to anyone first. Its trial length is not stated on the current pages, and a January 2026 page that said no credit card was needed should not be treated as current, so check the terms when you sign up. Other AI visibility tools with a free trial are compared in a separate roundup.

Adobe is harder to read. There is no public self-serve signup or plan. The documented trial is for eligible Adobe Experience Manager Cloud Service or Adobe Analytics customers, and it covers 100 prompts, one domain and up to 50 URLs for one opportunity type for activations after April 2026. Its duration is not published. If you are not already an Adobe customer, the trial is not an option, which is the direct answer to the question in the title.

What DeepSmith does: the 7-day trial is open to anyone and runs on real data, with your own prompts and competitors set up during onboarding. You can judge the tracking and the written drafts in the same week, before you choose a plan.

Pricing and budget

Peec AI wins on price clarity. Starter is $95 a month, Pro is $245 for 150 prompts and two projects, and Advanced is $495 for 350 prompts and five projects, with unlimited users on every plan. Enterprise is custom. Annual billing carries a 15% discount, though the annual figures are not shown. The extra models cost more, so a team that needs Perplexity on Starter adds $30 a month billed annually.

Adobe does not publish a price, so a small team cannot budget before talking to sales. An older LLM Optimizer pricing page listed a 1,000-prompt annual minimum, but it now redirects and should not be read as current. The honest budget answer for Adobe is to ask for a quote and compare it to the $95 starting point you can see for Peec. If budget is the main filter, a list of the best budget AI visibility trackers for startups compares more tools.

What DeepSmith does: pricing is on the site, from $99 a month, and it already includes the articles. A Pro plan covers 50 tracked prompts and 20 articles a month, so the budget line covers measuring and producing together rather than a tracker you then pair with a writer.

Setup effort and IT involvement

Peec AI is the lighter lift. You add your brand, competitors and prompts, and reviewers say it is easy to start. The optional crawler analytics connects to log sources such as Cloudflare, Vercel and AWS, but that is an add-on to tracking, not a requirement for it.

Adobe's setup depends on what you want from it. Prompt tracking can begin after activation, with first results said to appear within 24 hours. The crawler and referral views need CDN log forwarding, and edge changes need deployment access. A G2 reviewer called log forwarding an onboarding barrier, and measuring impact can need about a two-week baseline. For a team without an IT contact this is where the project slows down.

What DeepSmith does: setup starts from your website. Deep IQ reads it during onboarding, so brand context, competitors and starter prompts exist before you configure anything. There are no log pipelines or CDN changes to schedule.

From insight to action

Adobe is ahead of Peec AI here in one sense, since it can push fixes at the CDN edge and write for Wikipedia, YouTube and Reddit, and its content generation is partial. Peec flags on-page gaps through Actions and leaves the writing to you. For a small team that has to publish, neither tool takes you from a gap to a finished, published article in one place.

What DeepSmith does: an Opportunity Agent turns a visibility gap into an idea with the data point attached, you give it a date in Planned Content, and the Writer or Autowrite produces the article. Produced Content then publishes it to your CMS. Each finished article also arrives with social posts written for it.

Which should you choose

  • DeepSmith: a small team, an agency or a founder-led marketing group that wants to start self-serve this week, see where it shows up in AI answers, and get publish-ready articles for the gaps from one plan, on a monthly contract you can leave.
  • Peec AI: a small team that already has writers or other content tools and wants a published-price tracker, daily prompt tracking and an MCP server on every plan.
  • Adobe Brand Visibility (LLM Optimizer): a larger team on Adobe Experience Manager or Adobe Analytics, with IT support, that values edge deployment and revenue attribution in the Adobe stack and will go through a sales process.

For a team weighing Peec AI or Adobe Brand Visibility for small teams, Peec is the practical pick of the two, and DeepSmith is the pick if the plan also includes producing content. If neither fits, the Peec alternatives and Adobe LLM Optimizer alternatives roundups list other options, and the best AI visibility tools for startups page covers the wider field. Our DeepSmith vs Peec and DeepSmith vs Adobe LLM Optimizer pages go deeper on each pairing.

Frequently asked questions

Can a small team start with Adobe Brand Visibility without being an Adobe customer?

There is no public self-serve plan, and the documented trial is for eligible Adobe Experience Manager Cloud Service or Adobe Analytics customers. A team outside the Adobe stack would go through a sales consultation instead. Adobe's edge deployment is described as compatible with Fastly, Akamai and Cloudflare, so the product itself is not limited to Adobe Experience Manager.

How much does Peec AI cost for a small team?

Starter is $95 a month for 50 prompts, three active models and unlimited users. Pro is $245 and Advanced is $495. Perplexity is a paid add-on on these plans, and annual billing carries a 15% discount.

Does Peec AI or Adobe Brand Visibility write content?

Peec AI does not create content, and its Actions FAQ says you write it yourself. Adobe Brand Visibility is rated partial on content generation, mainly for edge optimizations and off-site content rather than full on-site articles.

Is there an alternative to Peec AI and Adobe Brand Visibility that tracks and writes on a self-serve plan?

DeepSmith does. It starts with a 7-day free trial, tracks AI answers across up to ten engines depending on plan, and includes publish-ready articles in plans from $99 a month, with publishing to your CMS.
